House is closed in with a roof

At the end of the weekend January 28, the house has a roof structure complete.
Plywood walls and roof have closed in the house.

Thanks to all the volunteers

Overcast morning as our volunteers gathered for prayer to begin the day.

What a lot of progress was made this past weekend.
Painting on one house and a new roof on the other.

Thanks to the volunteers and also to the kitchen crew who provided lunch for all our workers.

Wall Raising for the McKeithans

We had a great weekend beginning the new house with the wall raising.  We greatly appreciate all who sent volunteers to build the walls in the warehouse and to raise the walls on site.  It was also great to have all who participated in the worship service celebration and wall-raising ceremony.
What a wonderful way to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  A special thank you goes to Marc Archibald and Rev. Paul Anderson of The Fountain for providing a spectacular worship event.

Check out the photos from the weekend. As you can see from the photos, we made huge progress on the McKeithen's home this weekend.
