Siding going up on Saturday (2/20)

Volunteers from Trinity worked hard at framing and putting up siding during their work day Saturday.  With white hats in place, the team assembled for a group photograph and then set to work.

Thanks to Phillip Price, Habitat Coordinator for Trinity for providing the great pictures for the progress that day.

Planning for the windows ready to be set in the walls.

Hard at work and still smiling.

 Windows being set in place.
Roofing going on and being covered with tar paper, ready for shingles.
 Siding doing up.
A chance to have a rest over a good lunch with friends provided by the church.

Siding almost finished on one of the houses, with the roofing in place.

Baptist Builders come out on January 30th

Saturday was a good day for progress on the homes.  We had over 35 Baptist Build members volunteering their time and energy and faithfulness.  Bright sunshine made the work enjoyable.

You can see the team hard at work adding the roof on one of the homes.  We completed the roof by the end of the day.

On the other house, we had a large team working and made a lot of progress putting walls up.

Weather was great, although chilly early in the day.  We had great leadership with Ed guiding the work and a lot of progress being made.

Thank you to the churches who participated Saturday, and you can see what a difference their loving hands at work have made.

If you have not registered to take part, make it a priority to find your day and register.
